    Assistant Principal 2017-2018

     Assistant Principal is needed to serve Hancock Central High School, grades 9-12. Certification in Educational Leadership required; preferred L5 certification. Supervisory experience preferred.   • School Nurse

    The Hancock County School District is seeking a state licensed nurse to fill its school nurse vacancy. Proposed salary will range from $30,000-$43,000 based on education and experience. 

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manage and coordinate the assigned schools’ health services programs based on requirements established by school division policies, procedures, and protocols, and by local, state and national regulations and statues; maintain and operate the school clinic including the supervision of clinical support staff, if available. 

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred; licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia and in good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing. One to three years of nursing experience and/or experience in community health, pediatrics, emergency care and triage, psychiatry, and/or a physician's office preferred.

    A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.


    REQUIREMENTS

    The preferred applicants must hold a valid Georgia State nursing license; valid CPR certification; and possess a valid driver’s license.
